TRANSCENDENTAL : THAT WHICH CAN BE PREDICATED OF ALL BEING   Click to Expand ⤵

  1. Being
    That which can exist (all the other transcendentals are interchangeable with this and vice versa)
  2. Unity (a.k.a. Oneness or The One)
    Being considered undivided in itself
  3. Truth
    Being conformed to thought
  4. Goodness (a.k.a. The Good)
    Being considered as suitable for desire
  5. Thing (a.k.a. Quiddity or Nature)
    Being considered as essence
  6. Something
    Being as distinct from other beings
  7. Beauty (a.k.a. The Beautiful)
    Arguably, a combination of Truth and Goodness (however, many Thomists dispute whether Beauty is actually a Transcendetal).
